Mr. Jason Gleghorn Ph.D. Candidate, Cornell University |
Jason Gleghorn was a delegate from Massachusetts in 1996 and a long time staph member. He has worked on many projects over the past several years including the design of a plasma fusion propulsion system for a single-stage to orbit vehicle he designed. Jason's interests have shifted from high-energy particle physics to tissue engineering. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Cornell University, as a NASA fellow, investigating cartilage mechanobiology and musculoskeletal tissue engineering. Jason is specifically interested in how articular cartilage with disease such as Osteoarthritis. In addition to his academic pursuits, Jason also has many avocations including being a volunteer fire fighter and EMT and being a member of the National Search and Rescue Team. | |
