Heather Anderson

Unit Leader / Natural Science Assistant

Heather will be a senior at Houghton College. In December, she will graduate with a degree in biology and minors in chemistry and philosophy. She has received awards from both the biology and chemistry departments and serves as the president of Sigma Zeta, a math and science honor society. After graduating, she will return to London, England, where she spent spring semester of her freshman year as part of the First-Year Honors Program at Houghton. Upon returning, she will be a teaching assistant for the honors program. Heather then plans to continue on to medical school with the hope of practicing medicine overseas one day. This will be Heather's second year on staff. She was a delegate to the NYSC® in 2001 from South Dakota. Her hobbies include backpacking, snowshoeing, discussing philosophy, crossing Arabidopsis plants, and hanging out with kids. This is her second year on staff.
