William Hartley

Natural Science Coordinator

William was the 2001 delegate from South Carolina. He has completed all of the requirements for a BS in molecular biology and biochemistry and minor in secondary education for the College of Charleston Honors Program. He is a researcher at The Medical University of South Carolina in the Department of Microbiology. William is studying protein-protein interactions of GR8 protein in late-transcription of Vaccina Virus. He is also the Program Coordinator of the Lowcountry Hall of Science and Math, a nonprofit educational foundation. He will be starting his PhD in microbiology in January at Medical University of South Carolina. This is his second year on staff.
