Sheila Stevens

Outdoor Co-Coordinator

Sheila was a 1987 delegate from Iowa. She received a BS in biomedical engineering from the University of Iowa and a masters and PhD in biomechanical engineering from Stanford University. Sheila and her husband of 10 years, Russ, live in Santa Clara, California and enjoy biking, hiking, and movies. Russ and Sheila have ridden a tandem bicycle from Seattle to Connecticut as counselors for a group of high school students. After five years at an emerging spine company, Kyphon, Sheila now consults in medical device development and customer education. Sheila will be serving her thrid year on staff.
